About this card

The JetBlue Premier Card (aka Plus Card) presents a mixed value proposition, resulting in a 'Fair' overall rating. Its strengths lie in the generous rewards program for JetBlue loyalists, including high earning rates on JetBlue purchases, a valuable sign-up bonus, and perks like free checked bags. However, the card is significantly hampered by its exceptionally high $499 annual fee, which is very difficult to offset for infrequent travelers. The APR range is also high. While the card can be worthwhile for frequent JetBlue flyers who maximize its benefits, its niche appeal and steep cost prevent a higher rating. The questionable reputation of Barclays further weakens the card's overall value.
