About this card
The Disney® Visa® Card is a highly niche product primarily designed for dedicated Disney enthusiasts. Its overall rating of 2.7, placing it in the 'Fair' category, reflects a balance between its strong advantages for its target audience and significant drawbacks for general cardholders. The card's greatest strengths are its $0 annual fee and the array of exclusive Disney-specific benefits, including discounts on merchandise, dining, tours, special photo opportunities, and a decent sign-up bonus ($150 value). The 0% promotional APR for 6 months on select Disney vacation packages also adds value for specific high-cost purchases. However, these benefits are heavily offset by a very high regular APR (18.24%-27.74%, potentially up to 29.99%) which makes carrying a balance expensive, and a low, restrictive ongoing rewards rate of 1% in Disney Rewards Dollars on all purchases. For non-Disney spending, the rewards value is poor, and redemption options lack flexibility.
